So, I'm in Org, puttin around and I see Revengerr making an asshat of himself, and I get bored and irritated at it enough that I say "damn, I'm glad we kicked him our of our guild." I'm pleased to get a good laugh from the audiance when I get a /w from Gunjobi saying "your a noob." Thats when I see a little ways up, Gunjobi made a comment about revengerr too. So, Gun thought I was talking about him. I sorta let the guy make an idiot of himself before I say "I wasnt talking about you." Because it makes me feel good to watch someone make a verbal moron of themself. He says something like "well, the guild im going to get into is way better" to which I announce "I dont reccomend you use generous package as a refrence.. oh and by the way, I wasnt talking about you." He says something about me being a "selfish human being" and I laughed. He said "you would laugh" and I said "I find it funny that you call me selfish when you were kicked out of the guild because of your selfishness." He proceeds to inform me that he was never told WHY he was kicked out.

The conversation quickly cooled down and I explained to him nicely what had been explained to me. "You were greedy about loot, you were whining when what you wanted didnt drop, you were telling other people not to bid, ect. ect." He said a few things that included "I was joking." He then apologized and said that he actually thought I was a really nice person. The End.

He got kicked for those reasons. For the record there is NO guild better than GP. I saw him in the hall of legends the other day guildless i suspect that he will stay that way unless he changes his attitude :)

I talked to gun a few times and he seemed ok but then he would say something to knock him down a peg. I REALLY think he should stop bashing GP, aside from it beind completely rediculous, alot of guilds have played with GP members and know we dont run shit like idiots.

He needs to wake up and think about WHY he got kicked out and change that and stop this "GP are noobs!" bullshit cause it wont get him anywhere and it pisses me off beyond belief

he put me on ignore and i never even said anything to him. which i guess was good cuz i was about to haha. anyway, i understand the need to be professional when talking about why he got kicked (especially to people who liked him) but just saying "he doesnt mesh well" does not get to the heart of what exactly he was doing. a big part of it was that he was not willing to help unless he was certain he was getting something, at least for me. his selfishness was the absolute first thing i ever saw from him when he continually whispered every hunter to make sure they all had "the purple bow" in the first ZG run i did with him so that he could get it when it dropped. and then he wouldnt even go if we werent doing the BL.

the people who dont understand why he got kicked are the ones who kind of act like he did, imo. instead of dancing around the issue, i think both him and everyone else needs to be made completely aware of the situation because you know he's running around telling other people how unfairly we treated him. he's convinced himself that the reason he got kicked was because we sucked and he never liked us anyway. thats like when i got fired from a job about 4 hours after i quit it, except that thats really what happened to me and it isnt what happened to him =P.

I think his recent actions prove the right decision was made. Selfishness is not an attribute that is compatible with this guild and people who do things only for the benefit of themselves and not the guild should NOT be here. Period.

he's full of shit, i booted him when he was online and he asked me why and i told him everthying we have said here. glad to hear he has continued to be an asshat and that we made the right decision.

Although we may wish it, no one is bound to get along with everyone. This is a constant, and as such, we must learn to accept this fact. Some are quicker to catch on than others, however...

Agreed, Tairne. Being a member of Generous Package does not require or imply that your personality should mesh well with each and every other member.

The two points, in my mind, that are pertinent to Gunjobi's departure are:
1) If you don't get along with a vast majority of the guild, chances are you are not what GP is looking for. As such, it's probably better for all parties that you are removed from the guild.
2) If your quest for l33t epikz overshadows your quest for news friends and guild accomplishments and, when given an opportunity to change, those self-centered ideals remain... it's probably a safe bet that we don't want you.

I have no problem, nor have I ever had a problem, with Gunjobi as a human being. What I have a problem with is when someone uses this guild I put so much time, effort and care into, solely for their own selfish gains. Really the same goes for anyone... If someone is in GP just because of the phat loot they might receive, and not because they enjoy talking, laughing and working with a phenomenal group of people, it might be time to change guilds. :)
