well, some of you may have suspected this, others might see it as a surprise, but it doesn't matter.

I stopped raiding awhile ago because, as I told many of you, I didn't want to get burnt out before the expansion; this was true, but in addition - there's a selection of people in the guild that I just don't want to play with. people that annoy me to degrees that i'm wriiting this now. i'm leaving because the people who I enjoy in GP and I see as friends just aren't enough to make up for the people that I don't like. i'm not an officer, it's not my place to say which people should be kicked out and who should stay

Muskegon left the guild earlier today - he didn't pressure me or anything into leaving, it's just my decision. i'll still keep in touch on the forums if allowed and although it's an asshole thing to do - if anyone has been thinking the same thing I have and wants into our new guild for the same reason, whisper me or Muskegon.

thanks go out to Orclok, namely - who met and invited me, a good 8 months ago(ish) when I was a lowly level 50something warrior and didn't know a damn person in-game. also, everyone who put up with my bitching when it was justified, and whoever knocked me back down when it wasn't (ahnjin, /point)

well I think that's it. ask anything you want - I don't have a reason to hold back anymore

Your departure makes me sad. You can include me in the list of the people who didn't know you were unhappy with our operation. Ranks are visiable on the guild list and are ment more as a guide for members to refer to with questions; or to seek help with their class.

I have found that several people in the guild will be upset about somthing, but noboady wants to tell me about it. I've managed people for years and I have found the best role a "boss" can be is creating the most potential benefit for your crew at that time. In the kitchen maybe somtimes you cut veggies when a prep cook is sick and the team is down a man. Work the fryer, whatever --but if its one of my guys-- the most important thing is solving that problem right away. Issues within your crew will always show up but they can be worked out. Somtimes you just need to tell the smelly guy to take another shower and it all works out.

But if I don't know I can't help. I hope I have had an open ear to anyone who might need help or have a particular problem; but not talking to me before going is a big downer.

However, I wish you the best in your adventures, both IG and Out

Maybe now I'll pop up a slot on the DPS Chart.......

Horrible you will be missed by many of us here in GP. GL with all you do in WOW and outside of WOW, same goes for Muskegon if he reads this.

horrible, you leaving makes me very sad. but understandable. i too have felt burnt out from Wow, and am trying not to be completely fizzled out. but as an officer, it concerns me that there might be conflict and/or animosity (?) between guildies that we dont know about. Emo bashing fun aside, you were a blast to play and chat with, and your DPS is just plain sick. i wish you all the best in yours and musks future ingame.

orc, i've tried to help the people who i'm complaining about - they were called out raid after raid because they fucked up and noone did anything about it. i'd offer advice, try to help but nothing changed so I don't see a reason to help them anymore, they were still allowed to raid with us so I stopped raiding.

I learned how to play on my own, I searched out help in areas that I felt weak in because I wanted to be a better player, these people don't want to get better because it's the goal of the game, they want better gear so that they can pwn noobs and shit like that. slowly and surely if you don't get better, there's only one way left to go.

to say that you didn't know anything about this... how the hell couldn't you know?

I wish I could say I was suprised at Horrible's departure. After we chatted a couple of weeks ago in ZG, I was pretty concerned that he was getting burnt out. I really didn't suspect that it was more directly related to the guild itself though.

Frankly, the biggest problem with expanding GP to do 40-Man raids is that we've grown so quickly we haven't always had the luxury of bringing people "up to speed" with how GP rolls. Where most of us cut our GP teeth in 5-Mans, UBRS and ZG... we now have people who have only done MC with us. It's tough to get to know people and, more importantly, to help people learn how to better play their class with this type of limited exposure.

Let this be a reminder that the people in this guild are here to help you. If you get advice or criticism, don't be so full of yourself that you completely ignore what people are telling you. If you are constantly making mistakes and refuse to accept advice from people like Horrible, who are exceptional players at their class, you might find you get invited to do less and less.
